I have also a problem, but I don't know if it KDE related. When running KDE
3.1.2 on my Box (and also 3.1.1), my hardisk is working for 5 - 10 seconds
from time to time without an obvious reason, and KDE does not react on mouse
and keyboard actions.
I'm running an AMD K7 1,2 GHz with 256 M
