Hi, I have also a problem, but I don't know if it KDE related. When running KDE 3.1.2 on my Box (and also 3.1.1), my hardisk is working for 5 - 10 seconds from time to time without an obvious reason, and KDE does not react on mouse and keyboard actions.
I'm running an AMD K7 1,2 GHz with 256 MB RAM Marc
