I've just installed the kde 3.1 packages for woody on testing, and the
conflict between libarts and libarts1 has removed lots of other packages
(e.g. xine-ui). Does anyone know of a workaround for this?

Just did an upgrade du KDE 3.1 on my Debian mixed system. Everything went
fine, except for fonts. Some carachters (like: ") now appear as little
squares (like this: ). This happens wether the AA fonts option is checked
or not in the Configuration Center and wathever fonts type I ch

It's there, but it's a recommends (xscreensaver-nognome | xscreensaver),
since you can happily use the KDE-specific screensavers without
xscreensaver being installed.

Hi. KOffice build-depends on kdelibs4-dev, which depends on
libart-2.0-dev. So assuming kdelibs4-dev is correctly installed, the
libart dependency should already be taken care of.

Thanks for your great work. I was able to install the debs from the debian
mirrors without big problems on a x86 and two powerpc systems.
I tried to compile koffice 1.2.1 on powerpc and found that
libart-2.0-dev is missing as a build dependency.
KDE 3.1 really rocks!

I'm using debian sarge, and am trying to install gnomemeeting using apt-get
Apt-get however insists on deleting everything related to kde before it wants
to install the necessary libs for gnomemeeting.
What's this for madness then ? Can't i have both gnome and kde living happily

I'v mentioned that few weeks ago. mosfet-liquid precompiled packages for x86
are missing from your deb repository (the dir is empty). I'm able to compile
my self the package from the source deb package you provide.. I think the bin
packages have been lost somewhere ;)

executed" (or sumthin' like that, i use a translated version). I've
configured latex and dvips, and i use both of them in command line...
any ideas? :(
