I notice that you are sending PGP/GPG signed email with kmail, so I presume
that it's working OK for you.
When I see your messages GPG takes ages to process the signature (a minute or
more on a P3-650). So I generally run "killall gpg" in another window.
How do you find gpg performance with km
I have a window setting of 1152 x 864. At least that's what XF86Config-4
says.
Everything that I open in KDE seems to fill up about 80% of the screen. An
80x24 term window is 50% height and 75% width with a font setting of 'tiny'.
This seems a little larger than it should be.

your going to have problems unless you remove libqt-dev and install
libqt3-dev and it's deps...
otherwise you'll end up with major problems.
for example...you can't use the uic compiled for libqt2 when building
packages for libqt3.
just remove libqt-dev, install libqt3-dev (et. all including qt3
I'm trying to compile stuff from kde-cvs. Since libqt3-dev wants to
remove libqt-dev I have copied everything out from the deb manually (I
guess I know about the problems that this brings). But I still don't get
the kde-cvs to compile - it doesn't find the Qt libs although I am running
it with:

Yesterday I could right click on an attachment and it would give me a nice
pop up menu. Today that's gone, it only has Open URL and Copy to Clipboard.
This is frustrating, what happened to "Save As". This is the second time this
has disappeared. Bef

I want to have only the mininum packages installed in order to run konqueror,
so I simply did an "apt-get install konqueror". Everything works fine, except
that the default font is too small.
I tried selecting "Windows -> settings", and got the following errors:
