Strange, I have it:
ds10(0) ~/tmp > dpkg -S /usr/lib/kde2/kio_audiocd.so
kdebase-audiolibs: /usr/lib/kde2/ki

Yes :-) Switching to cups is painless, and easy. If this is a home pc,
apt-get install cupsys cupsys-client kups, configure the server by going to
localhost:631, and configure kde to use the localhost cups server. I use it
at both wo

Do you have package kdebase-audiolibs installed? If so, what version?
Ben.
I may be wrong, but I think that a file is wrongly named.
It's in the kmidi package :
kmidi looks for /etc/kde2/timidity.cfg, and don't start because this file
doesn't exist..
In fact, this file is, but it's not the same name : /etc/kde2/ktimidity.cfg
And this file begin like this :
#
Horrors, the best part of upgrading kde 2.2 doesn't seem to have
materialised, there isn't the audiocd: ioslave installed.
Is there a nice easy apt-get style or even hard and difficult way of
installing it?

Anyone know how I can change this limit? I have lots of directories of
images I've taken with my digital camera. It seems that Konqueror will
display previews for images under about 1 MB. Any image over that size
just displays the default image icon. Any ideas? Thanks.

hello,
i'm working with kde 2.1.2 and used the control-center to bind
"switch to next/previous desktop" to "Ctrl+Alt+Right/Left"
works fine, but if i use konquerer(2.1.1) and surf for a while
"Ctrl+Alt+Right/Left" doesn't 'just' change desktops anymore.
instead a menu pops up (right klick t

G'Morning Wondrous Wizards,
I recently upgraded to Sid and KDE 2.2. My printer, which worked
perfectly with Woody and KDE 2.1 doesn't want to play with Sid and KDE
2.2. I used Apsfilter to setup my /etc/printcap file (if that has
anything to do with this)
TIA

Hello !
I'm not sure that this is a kde-specific problem, but.
I recently installed locales. Then, I edited /etc/locale.gen and added the
line for french support. Then, I made a "locale-gen", and I set the LANG
variable to fr_FR in /etc/bash.bashrc.
When I start a non-kde program (eg. gimp
Since I upgrade xserver-xfree86 to version 4.1 I have problems with
fonts. I'm using iso-8859-2 (polish) encoding and now I have only fiew
fonts with this encoding. How can I use more fonts with my iso encoding?
How can I use fonts witch I have earlyer.
