Anyone else notice this? Text doesn't appear in the kdm fields when you type
just after your computer boots up, but only after "restart X server" is
choosen.
Is this just an Nvidia issue?

That is only for Debian aware apps. So far nothing that I have found in kde
sets that. I would like to know how to set it too since to my knowlage 2.0
was supose to bring that to kde.

Open the Advanced Editor and change it's default size. This is
the application that konqueror uses to display text files.

2. Is there a way to specify a home dir for web browsing in Konq that is not
equal to the one in kfm view? Actually it makes absolute

You need to set the font size in advanced editor /kwrite. I assume because

Hi Andreas,
Unfortunately, Under Settings there is no Configure editor option,
not when I open konqi, not even when there is a text file viewed.
The only options are configure: toolbars, konqueror, keybindings
Any other idea, I could try?

Hi fellow KDE Debianers,
I love Konqi, but there is one thing, which bugs me a lot:
Whenever I use Konqueror to view a text file (on the web, or even in
my home directory) it loads the text viewer (which is I guess the
text editor embedded or something) and shows me the text file with

Has anyone else tried using Konqy with WebCT? I can login, and get to the
'Home' page, but Konqy never seems to be able to load any of the pages linked
off Home.
It's really annoying to have to go back to Netscape just so I can get my
coursework...
