Hi, I filed this issue a few months ago and haven't had any response yet: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=883862 In short, if you rebuild the maven family of packages on Debian Stretch, the resulting packages are subtly broken and will then cause eclipse (and other packages?) to
