In generally, the application should not modifiy /usr/lib directory. Plugins may should be placed at /var/lib/eclipse/plugins. If nobody refuse it, I'll change plugins directory next release. an option? Something like 'eclipse-common > depends: eclipse-gtk | eclipse-motif'. It may be libswt-java-commmon, libswt-java-gtk, libswt-java-motif. However it makes build process more complex and current build process was enough complex(I wrote some script and modified makefile by my hand). So, I support one bindings in the first. 2 but above jar is xerces 1's. You don't need set classpath because eclipse include xerces at /usr/lib/eclipse/plugins/org.apache.xerces_4.0.7. Xerces2 in woody is obsolete(2.0.1). You may need sid's 2.2.1. Takashi Okamoto
