I stumbled about a possible problem when checking DDTP translations for bind9.
I
noticed that in Lenny there are translations for the bind9 package but they are
not in Sid (and also not Squeeze). I grepped a copy of the translations which
I use to import into UDD:

The translations are not dropped, but they are quite new and only
a few translations: de, ja, it, pl. Unfortunately grepping the short
descriptions for translations doesn't say much about the long

I don't know a way for checking how long a description was in the DDTP
server but knowing that it is

DDTSS is broken.
For example the Italian translations can be done only for packages name
starting with ^[A-L].
The Italian team has stop translating packages descriptions because
sometime some translations can't be reviewed: the package description is
not accessible and forcing fetc
