Description : Development files for the FreeDict dictionary packages
This package contains the scripts for developing and building FreeDict
dictionary packages.
The proposed name of the binary package produced by this source package
is "freedict-tools-dev".
Currently, the d
es its own binary dictionary format instead.
Currently we have gtk, gnome and console version of stardict in the
archive, and the stardict-dictionary virtual package, but none of the
dictionary packages supports it.
To provide dictionary data for stardict, we can convert the original
DICT

I like the idea of having all the material available in a form
that is as convenient as possible (ie alread .deb) .

packages which are interesting to only a limited number of people.

I have just packaged dictd, containing client/server software for
accessing dictionaries. To do anything useful, the server must have
dictionaries and indices in a suitable format.
There are eight dictionaries available from the same site that
provides the source for the client/server
