Is there a reason why gawk and mawk are under project/experimental? Not only

I just read an article about Penguin written by its author Felix Gallo
yesterday. It sounds very interesting and I want to test it and perhaps,
if no one else is doing it, create a Debian package.
In short, what Penguin is: ``Penguin is an extension for Perl 5,

I think the correct way is `Recommends'. But it doesn't have to be
xlockmore, xtrlock will do the job as well. Anyway, I'm just compili

Here's my list of packages again. I have to get rid of them as I approach my
first day in a new job. If I still have the time to take care of it while
working for the new job, I might take them back. Also I think I'll be able
to take care of one or two but not seven. Anyway, here's what I still

This problem has been fixed but can anyone tell me how to get the
maintainer changed from "unknown" to myself since I'm the maintainer.
Thanks.

Hello Folks,
Hi Ray,
I'm trying to (re)package rpncalc under the new packaging scheme, but I'm
having problems with dpkg-shlibs and/or the sonames. Rpncalc needs the
readline library to work, which it links with the name libreadline.so.2.0:

I can't imagine this being a mirroring problem, so
this go directly to you:
every `modules.tgz` on the special-kernel bootdisks

are truncated ( unexpected EOF ).

IMHO, it shouldn't: there's no reason why I have to get the GS fonts if I
have perfectly valid Adobe fonts installed on my machine! The gsfonts

prefer), not required.
Something that would be nice
Package: gsfonts

Gs fonts are installed under usr/lib/ghostscript/4.01/fonts. There are two

1. Fonts are machine independent files that should be shared (in /usr/share).
2. Gs fonts are regular PostScript fonts, not tied to a given version of
