The Linuxtag CDs this year will already contain a Woody DVDROM with
KDE 3.1.x and OpenOffice, according to their
ebian-boot team for example...
Hmm, so maintaining debian-cd will require in-depth knowledge about
debian-boot for all 16 (17) architectures ?

Would it be possible to automagically remove attachments with suspicous
contents - like .doc,.xls,.pif etc. (application/octet-stream etc.) ?

Hello
we used to create CD and DVD ISO images with the help of debian-cd on a
local mirror. However, when trying to update to the current version of
debian-cd, this fails because

is manufactured by Debian.ORG, which is simply not true. Only the

only the "us"-Version of the first Debian CD would not have
crypto support, all other countries and continents should be fine.
(I do hate "non-US" anyway - this sounds a bit like "outside of

What I don't understand is why you are changing the name - I don't see any
obvious reason for this ?

Certainly there's always something to be improved - but unless someone
can do it better (and can show us ;-) the word "crap" on other's work
is not recommended.
I did have some problem on the debian-cd-kit that could not be solved,
but I wouldn't cal

stable on them), then some kind of task for "other" optional Debian
CDs - having things like old kernel sources, ancient compilers, compat-libs
not depending on the stable stuff etc. etc.
Just my $0.02 ;)
