Just a quick notification about these issues.
This driver is now unmaitained [1]. The reason is that the basecode has been
added into the main kernel, through the gspca driver.
There are patches floating around for compilation in 2.6.30, but I pref
reopen 393962

Indeed, the library API has changed but upstream forgot to bump soversion..
I have packaged a svn snapshot with the coming soname change to cwiid, it is
in NEW queue.
There is a transfermii release using those changes, I'll upload it when this
package will be accepted.

not sure peercast should be shipped in squeeze.
The main motivation is that the software has been unmaintained for almost two
years now.
