Hi, I would like to document that the reason this bug is not fixed yet is that I am not sure peercast should be shipped in squeeze.
The main motivation is that the software has been unmaintained for almost two years now. However, the reason why I did not request its removal so far is that I am not aware of any alternatives at the moment. I will decide what I do for squeeze soon.
