twigged me to what the problem might be. When I say no devices work I mean
that no external drives mount, no printers are recognised, wireless card is
dead. Nothing. So no userland devices, is I guess my point. Let me know wh

get into my system with an old 2.6.16 kernel that I have on there, but that
