Is this really a work-around?
Package: zoneminder
Followup-For: Bug #721161
Dear Maintainer,
Upon attempting to installed zoneminder from the Aptitude UI zoneminder
is shown as broken. The ffmpeg dependency is now unavailable and this
makes zoneminder uninstallable at the moment.

The latest CUPS update to fix some aspect of PostScript printing had no

the Web interface the job seems to be completed "normally".

My report 660348 is reporting the same issue. For the moment, this
needs to remain at Grave as the breakage is due to a package version
upgrade and no debconf configuration was provided. I presume this to be
a bug and should properly block the update from reaching Testing.

I edited ~/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/xfce4-session.xml
and removed the section of the splash property. I had chosen the Balou
splash which caused the problem. I now have my Xfce4 desktop back.
Now that I've confirmed what caused it, is a gdb backtrace still needed?
Thanks!

Package: xfce4-session

Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
After updating from aptitude this evening, xfce4-session crashes as
shown in the included ~.xsession-errors file. The relevant line appears
to be:

After installation of diakonos, attempting to open the program results
in the following error:

After installing the xnec2c pacakge today, it does not display any UI on
screen. When starting in a term only the following message is printed:

xnec2c: child process exited
At this point there are
Package: kdelibs4c2a

I just performed an update and kdelibs4c2a 4:3.5.7.dfsg.1-6 is shown as
UNAVAILABLE in aptitude for the kdelibs 4:3.5.7.dfsg.1-6 package. Looking
at the experimental pool I see that 4:3.5.7.dfsg.1-6 is available for amd64,
Today I solved the issue by upgrading my client to mount 2.12r-15, and
removed the NFS user server on the server and replaced it with the NFS
kernel server. After performing some changes as shown at
http://wiki.debian.org/SecuringNFS and tweaking the Shorewall firewall
rules script, NFS is working
