On Jessie, at some point during the last couple of weeks, automatic
adjustment of volume/muting when plugging in headphones (or external
spekaers) has stopped working correctly.
Looking in alsamixer: When headphones are plugged
viour was that seemingly the volume and mute settings were
saved as two independent states with plug in/out, but I do not know the
specific states/changes of the sliders at that point.
