I had the exactly same bug and today I saw that I have some fglrx packages
with dpkg -l *fglrx*
So I purged all of them with aptitude purge ... and after reboot it works
again with aceleration.

Sorry Elimar, it's my fault as the writer of the report after trying to
help Jon with his problem.
The sound works except when trying to use HDMI output. I (we) don't know
how exactly HDMI works, but I think is something managed by video card AND
sound card.

fuck my RAID1) before 2 or 3 years more (since its developers prefer add
features to solve bugs in such a critical package), I will remove Debian in
all my systems and migrate do Devuan.
