the IRQ was already allocated.
the funny thing is: the lirc_serial driver *does* work when share_irq=1
is added to the parameters specified in
/etc/modprobe.d/lirc_serial.conf. At least, I can now happily use my

Hi Jonathan,

Hi all,
I just added Depends: linux to iotop (arch all, written in python and
depends on a Linux kernel) before I realised that type-handling pulls in
dpkg-dev. I would really appreciate it if the type-handling Provides

Looks like boinc-manager depends on wxwidgets for menus and stuff. I
found this Ubuntu bug report that might be related, about a similar
problem in wxwidgets:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/wxwidgets2.8/+bug/662077
Seems like that problem was fixed in the ubuntu version of wxwidgets
