with latest hylafax upload, I forced hylafax to user /usr/bin/awk since
all scripts have already been converted in order to work with mawk, gawk
and nawk.
Anyway, I am unsure if this will change the behaviour you found. Could
you please check it?

while cross-compiling a Qt application, I stumbled over an incorrectly
converted .pc file. The dpkg-cross tool can convert .pc files from a
separate architecture, but will only change paths in the variable
definition section.
