Hi,
I investigated today a bit more into this problem. I just copied the stage1,
stage2 and xfs_stage1_5 files again to /boot/grub and then run grub again. This
solved the problem in my case.

While going through the old dpkg-dev bugs I wondered about this one.
I'm inclined to close it without applying the patch because I really
