Please find attached two patches for userv. The first one extends the
"t-persist" test to try a service user of "root" as well. This turns out
to fail when using the existing init script because start-stop-daemon
kills the child process that'

Hi. Thanks for the patch. I agree with Matthew's concern about
long-running proceses. It should be possible to restart userv and not
kill things spawned by userv services.
As I wrote in #1039407, I would feel more comfortable with this patch
if I understood the autopkg

Hi,
I thought it might be useful to have a systemd service file available
for userv; the attached is what I used on RHEL (which lacks
start-stop-daemon so I couldn't just pinch the sysvinit file).
