As you know from my previous direct email to you, I too have been
looking to assist in getting a newer version of Gramps into
Unstable/Testing.

Hi James,
The Gramps download¹ page shows new upstream versions which would
be nice to have packaged for Debian.
Consider also adding a watch² file to gramps debian directory, it
makes easier to track upstream releases.
