Hi Juergen,
I am sorry about this. The patch is really set up for a Debian
Developer to review it, and upload it into the Unstable release of
Debian. I have not had time to chase someone up to sponsor it.
It would be possible for you to apply the pat

Hi,
As Version 3.4.6 of Gramps may not be packaged for Debian for some
time, I have created a patch for v3.4.0 from the latest upstream that
forces a UTF-8 locale to be used if available.
It is done as an NMU, and requires a

I've just committed a change, r22878, which forces $LANG to a UTF-8

Hi Juergen,
I see on the Gramps Wiki that it is preferable if people use a UTF-8
locale:

with that output attached?
That should give the version of Gramps you are running as well as other
useful information.
If you are still on version 3.

Hi Juergen,
I was unable to reproduce this problem on my Squeeze machine (Gramps
3.2.3-4).
Do you still have the problem?
Or have you successfully upgraded Gramps 3.4.0 which is in Wheezy?
If you no longer have the problem, you could reply to this m

Whoops. Meant 3.2.3-4. Tested in a clean Wheezy install by creating a
