There were other bugs upstream with similar descriptions but not exactly
the same, and a bug covering a code refactoring to disconnect GUI & CLI.

I just tested Gramps 4.0.2, and although it was promised that this had
been fixed, unfortunately it still fails for me.
A simple "gramps -l" to list all family trees also fails when there is

According to the upstream bug tracker, the reorganising of code to allow the
use of the command line without a GUI has finished. This is in Gramps 4.0.
