Hi Andreas, I just tested Gramps 4.0.2, and although it was promised that this had been fixed, unfortunately it still fails for me. A simple "gramps -l" to list all family trees also fails when there is no display. Apparently there is some work still going on to reorganise the code so that reports can be run headless, but I may need to reopen a bug upstream to ensure this specific cron job use case is fixed.
