This same thing happens for me on PowerPC, as well - with the exact same
backtrace from bug-buddy.
When started with the following command-line:
rm -rf ~/.mozilla/ && iceweasel -safe-mode
...I get this output:

My apologies for neglecting to include this information previously. Launching
Iceweasel in safe mode caused no noticable change, nor did relocating the
previous Iceweasel's profile directory.
