I had quite some difficulty getting "hp-setup" to configure a HP Color
LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw to allow scanning + "hp-toolbox" to allow scanning,
status check, etc. on Debian 10.
See:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/hplip/+bug/1430561/comments/39
I found several things which together g
problems.
My bug # 661822 can be closed - fixed by revised upstream release.
May be related to #667684 - but should be verified with the people who had
that problem.
Thanks,
Nathan

I just uploaded 295.33-1. You might want to give it a try. If this does
not fix the problem, it should be reported upstream.
A quick try of 295.33-1 led to the same problem. I did not have time to
spend collecting debugging data for nVidia yet to report upstream (again).
