Hey,
this is most likely due to a bug in the automatic conversion routine for
the configuration of 8.2.0 and earlier (see [1]). I've committed a fix
already that should prevent the execution with an empty locale after the
release of 8.4.0; see [2].
The easiest workaround is to open the preference

No. I'd appreciate it if you or the original poster could file an issue
in my issue tracker on Github[1] so that I don't forget about it.
Note that the file is not a valid Matroska file. For one, it contains an

Hey,
thanks for reporting. I've committed a fix[1] upstream. The important
part is the change to the XML file. The troff (.1) files are just
auto-generated from that one.
The fix will be in the next release (which will be 6.5.0).

Hey,
ok, changed my mind again. I'll revert the patch to mkvtoolnix so that
it accepts external versions of the library again.

at the moment (starting with release 4.7.0) mkvtoolnix uses its bundled
version of libebml & libmatroska exclusively. That will remain so for
the time being.

Hey,
If mkvinfo is compiled with wxWidgets or Qt then it also has a GUI. The

only let binary packages handle it? Because that's what your patch would

Hey,
thanks for the interesting patch. But I won't accept it as-is. The
reason is that the PCM packetizer (p_pcm.cpp) is only supposed to handle
PCM audio data. E.g. it can react to "--sync" by adding silence or
removing samples as needed. For general ACM support the proper way would

Hey,
sorry, but I've ben a bit noob-ish. The SQL syntax is wrong. Creating a

You can close the bug report if you like.

Hey,
this is not really a bug, it's a missing feature. -y is implemented by
craeting silence, not just by chaning the timecodes. Therefore mkvmerge
has to know how to create silence for that particular audio type. For

You could use the --delay feature which really only modifies t

I don't have any system with gcc 4.0.2 on it anymore. But 0.7.6 doesn't
