Hi Paul,
Are you running Gnome on wayland? You can check with
echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE
Currently, redshift (using xrandr) does not work on wayland.
As a workaround, you can can either choose ‘Gnome on X.org’ in GDM or
you give Gn
remembers the details. Stay tuned.
