Package: tmux
Version: 2.2-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

In three out of four computers, I have the following issue. All three
are running Debian testing. The fourth one is running Debian stable and
is uneffected.

The issue is: The occurrence of a bell in a window is not indicated by
‘!’ in the status line. Steps to reproduce:

1) Window 2: $ sleep 2 && echo -e '\a'
2) Change to window 1
3) Wait

The window activity marker is set, but the exclamation mark is missing.

The issue occurs in gnome-terminal, in xterm, and even in tty1.

Feel free to reassign the bug if it is not tmux’s fault ….

Best,

Marcel
