Just out of curiosity, could you show the disassembler output of the
OutputWrite() function for gcc-4.6, and gcc-4.7 with -O1 and -O2?

1. There are actually two icons for Writer:
apps/libreoffice-writer.png and mimetypes/libreoffice-oasis-text.png
they are supposed to be the same for each size, but for biggest (256x256)
