Edit /etc/chrony/chrony.conf and comment out the line

It should be:

The "PARANOID" "client" is described thusly in the man page (hosts_access):
"Matches any host whose name does not match its address."

The fix described in the third post is incorrect. The backported patches
applied in -3 have already reordered this part of the code so that it
