Hi,
The new iso images of the install CD are online for a few days now. I
waited for positive feedback before announcing that. I think they are
ok, I will send an announcement soon (ie this week-end).
I've been out of business for a while now. Last time I tried
debian/kfreebsd was five months
Ola' Jeronimo,
if you read the previous posts you'll learn that this seems to be a
"normal" thing. At least it was for me (on an IBM T43p)
Just answer "not" and press control F3 (or was it F5?) to finish your
installation. When you're done you'll probably have a fully functional
debian-bsd system
why not GNU/OpenBSD ?

Hi,
before anything, the obligatory Happy new year!!! to everybody! :)
I am a bit disappointed because my debian-bsd system was giving a lot
of trouble. After a clean installation of the gnome desktop suddenly
weird problems started to happen more and more frequently: bonobo was
crashing all the
Hi,
Yes, fortunately I have some experience with FreeBSD and I had already
selected the iwi module when installing... but I am missing some
tools, like iwicontrol
Also, I don't have any idea where to copy the firmware, so that iwi finds it

And for the ethernet card I just chose _all_ to be sure I have
connection... but I guess this is not the elegant way...
Is ACPI supported?
ok, too many questions... I'm just happy about my Christmas present :)
thanks!

Hi,
after my successful startx the first thing I tried to do was apt-get
install gnome-session. This downloaded a bunch of files but in the end
I got "some files are missing". I guess this is because maybe the
whole dependencies have not been yet totally exported to debian-bsd...
after that I ins

Hi,
I am looking forward to getting a stable release of debian-bsd. I have
read in the web page that there are still a couple of major bugs.
Which are these?
On the other hand, I've had some troubles when installing it... I have
tried to install debian-bsd on my fujitsu siemens lifebook p7010.
