2019-09-23 on my NVME drive
partition 1: efi
partition 2: boot
partition 3: encrypted volume
On encrypted volume: logical volume group LVM1
volum
I retried with the guided partioning. Same result.
The generated initramfs does not contain dm-crypt.ko.
The root of the problem is that the Debian installer does not install
package cryptsetup-initramfs.

I suggest to use `uname -m` to determine the architectue.

The prerequisite patch fixing #845779 has been applied to the
flash-kernel git.
Boot loads and runs boot.scr.
The script tries to load the dtb from
/boot/dtbs/4.10.0-rc5-next-20170125-r000-arm64/amlogic/meson-gxbb-odroidc2.dtb
and obviously fails.
My understanding is that on arm64 platforms the dtbs should be installed in
vendor specific folders.

I had no problems booting form a ext3 partition.
So at least there seems to be an option to have journaling enabled.

Now U-Boot will boot using uboot.scr.uimg and ignore the boot.scr that
