Hi,
I'm having some problems with Debian Squeeze installation.
It freezes for a long time when detecting network interfaces. The interest
thing is that when I first installed Squeeze a few weeks ago, I didn't have
this problem (just some suggestion from the

I tried to install again this morning, encountered the same problem
with partitioning, continued with 2GB free space and no swap. On the
first reboot, presentation of the login dialogue box was delayed by
about 20 seconds. When the password was entered, the box became greyed
and the system hung
same version is in Debian squeeze now

KDE4 has the capability of automatically setting time/date with ntpdate or
rdate. However, neither one is installed with a tasksel kde4 desktop.
Additionally, the Systems Settings GUI for enabling ntp time checks fails

If you are willing to load binary non-free firmware for your network card that
is covered in the manual [1].
