I built d-i on a stable powerpc machine, first installing the build
dependencies (in build/control) from sid.
libpopt0 (needed for pump-udeb) also needed to be upgraded to sid, the
stable version was insufficient. (I'm not sure if it should become a
bulid dependency as a result.)
I completed the

I'm snipping the parts that I don't really have any comments on, or

The grub-installer fail to install a bootable configuration if the

Hello,
after a month of wake-up phase, it is time to push the development a
bit. Boot-Floppies 3.0.24 are almost ready, ports for most architectures
have been build and we got positive test results. Outstanding issues

tag 177666 patch
thanks
This patch copies the network configuration files to the /target,
adds a loopback device to /etc/network/interfaces, and ensures
that the network interface is automatically started.

when using DHCP.

Howdy,
I just used a custom-built debian-installer net-install floppy[1]
to install sarge. Yay. I had to use custom ethdetect,
netcfg-dhcp and netcfg-static packages, and the "edit sources list
by hand" option to work around bug #148606[2].
Please test it and report the bugs.

I was given a Sparc5, I felt I must become involved.
Now, to the bug??. I installed Potato without
too many problems and this runs well. But, when I decided to upgrade to
Woody, the installation went well until boo
