When installing Debian, the installation of the Driver disks reads past
the end of drivers-3.bin (that probably what tar/gzip allways try)

On the first boot the apt configuration asks the user whether he wants to
use non-us software and later it asks what protocol and server to use.
I choose ftp and specified the server manually, choosing my local mirror.
