I just tried the current rc2 ins
more, and those who do are better of with the
"swapspace" package or similar. But that's waay out of reach for
Jessie :-)

In a world without walls and fences, who needs Wi
e is not a really
fundamental difference between these concepts.
Creating the user after installing packages and only put it in groups
that exist by that time is not a really good solution since the user
might install packages after base-config (in fact that's what I always

Sure. We do this in Ubuntu for quite some time now without any
problems.
Joey, do you think this change can go into Sarge? It's a very
unintrusive one.
Thanks,

I chose German keymap (de-latin1), but the alt and command keys are
swapped in the text consoles (this works correctly under X).
Nevertheless, great job! Thanks for your hard work!

Ah, I see. I did not dare to use the *.iso in .../netboot/ because it
sounds so much like a CD-ROM image.
Thanks for your outstanding work and have a nice Sunday

Thanks for your great work and have a nice day!

I will try beta3 in the next time (I'm curious :-) ) and I will check
DHCP thoroughly again. If you feel that the bug has been dealt with,
then don't hesitate to close it. IIRC beta2 already behaved nicely,
but I will send a new install report anyway.
Thank

Suggestion: either include pppoeconf in the first CD image or make it
optional (it is used only with DSL install, isn't it?)
Nevertheless, many thanks for this great Linux Distri!
