Changing the Bios setting from 1 MB to 8 MB as suggested by Miguel Figueiredo is
sufficient in itself to solve this problem on my old (2006) Dell Dimension 1100,

Since a couple of days, I have tried to use a wheezy net-install to set up
a new system.
I've run in the same problem, impossible to install busybox and the
installation fails.
Trying to change mirrors didn't solve a thing.

Tried your workaround, no success during the installation proces.
I think just because I was redirected to the base install again. So the
same error occurs again.
After completing the installation, using uni-erlangen.de as a interim
mirror, and rebooting into my now working system, your directiv
