I found a similar issue regarding the repetitive "timeout" messages reported by "udevd". It is related to kernel 3.0.0-1 and is solved in kernel 3.0.0-4 (see http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=637740#44) I upgraded to 3.0.0-5 (http://packages.debian.org/sid/linux-image-3.0.0-2-amd64
