Hi guys! There's a new linux kernel waiting to migrate from unstable to testing, but it's stuck due to a change in the binary package structure. However, ftpmaster have said that it's waiting on d-i to do something first - see the email below.
Any thoughts? I'm sure you're aware of this.... Many thanks for your interest in the topic, and yes, we are aware of it. Actually, we get daily reminder via the "cruft report" (which is also available at http://ftp-master.debian.org/cruft-report-daily.txt). However, the linux packages can't be removed, yet, as the debian-installer (build-) depend on them. Not sure what the d-i developers are planing, so I guess best would be to ask on #debian-boot / debian-boot@lists.debian.org.
