Hmm. Don't think so as basically we don't support anything on md, except
for lvm. Would be nice to catch that before RC2 though.

Is this a bug or is there a Grand Plan^© behind the way Deb did it?
Will it ever work?
It is ment to be fixed in initscripts version 2.86.ds1-16. Is it not
working for you, or are you using an older version?
I'm using 2.86.ds1-2

Hello all,
First of all, sorry for the x-post, I have no idea which list is the
right one for this question.
After not getting to work mounting a net device during bootup using the
_netdev option I did some Googling on the subject. Result was that
Debian apparently doesnt support the _netdev o

Some times ago Jerome reported a similar crash on amd64 with the
graphical installer, he even provided a strace log [1] of the crash.
Since this crash, suspected to be due to DFB libraries on AMD64, was
impossible to reproduce on aregular debian AMD64 system, i wonder if

Create /usr/local/bob in installer:
ls -l gives time as:

[I chose UTC - NO]
Reboot and check bios time - bios time is set to local time.
Boot newly installed partition.
