I failed to install the daily build installer CD from 09/02/2004
on a AMD Duron 800 MHz with a 80GB harddisk which was not detected
by the install kernel. The syslog messages were equal to the ones
below but neither the normal install routine nor fdisk or cfdisk

the mount point change, but lack time to test it. The missing template would
also need to be put back or dealt with.

The hardware is a pentium 100 mhz with 32 mb ram. After

The "hang" occurs during S35dump.
The screen displays a progress bar with "Starting up the partitioner"
as title and "Please wait..." as text. Both in English. This is
