I tried to install sarge with tollef's latest netinst floppy image.
My laptop is already partitioned, and it has 7 partitions, and so in
the installer I just load the modules to detect the hard drive, and
skip the partitioning.
The problem is that when I select "create filesystem" the only part

Hi,
Sorry if it's a FAQ, but I wasn't able to figure out by myself where the
messages which were sent to [EMAIL PROTECTED] are being sent now. I was
used to check this list daily looking for any changes within CVS
templates so I could easily update my translations and commit them.

Hi,
I'm in the process of getting sarge on my new computer. I thought that
would give me a nice chance to do some testing on the new
debian-installer. I used the business-card iso btw. I do have a lot of
comments an want to do some bug reporting, but I don't know which
package to report on. So may

I located mapdevfs in the di-utils-mount-partitions package, which is
not installed when I use autopartkit. I believe the mapdevfs program
must be moved into another package.

Why would we want to make that an option? It doesn't sound like a

Why doesn't the network install iso image (80mb version) have all network
drivers? I have a Realtek card and the installer says that it cannot load the
appropriate module. Is there any way that I can get that module from
somewhere?
I think it is idiotic that the the network installer doesn't h
