I tried the new-powermac flavor from Jan 7 posted in ~walters. I was
unable to install from the hard disk.
I first tried the images-1.44/root.bin posted with new-powermac. Then
I tried a root.bin I had built from cvs on 1/14. Both gave the same
symptoms. I don't believe there have been any change

i am trying to install debian to work on same drive with win 2000. Haveing
problems with lilo jumping in ahead of windows. can't have that because i

This has not been changed in the current boot-flopppies, the
modification to /etc/passwd is not necessary any longer because
/bin/

I've had a pretty good look around to try and find the kernel config
file for the debian alpha boot disks, they don't seem to be in the same
place like the x86 ones are. If someone can point me in the right
direction to find them then that would be great.
