This is a bug against the compact set of floppies.
Life goes easier in the install of Debian on a Compaq Proliant 1600 with
SmartRAID (cpqarray) card if the /dev/ida/c0d0, /dev/ida/c0d0p1,
/dev/ida/c0d0p2, etc. block special files are present.

It's not a modconf bug, if you modprobe lp from the command line it
doesn't bring in parport_pc either.

Sounds like /etc/modutils/arch/i386 is missing, that includes the
needed alias:

So I'm looking at busybox wget, with an eye to using it as the core of
the http retreiver. Observations:
* The chunked transfer encoding thing is a killer. Seems to break it on
a pretty large number of web sites. I guess you know about this
though.

and the main-menu will interact. Here are my thoughts, this mostly comes out of
looking at main-menu.c, playing with debconf, and looking at the demo, if this
