Hi all,
I noticed that DebConf is not mentioned on the web page about how to
help Debian. Could someone propose a sentence or two about helping
Debian through DebConf, mini-DebConfs, booths, sprints and BSPs?

Hi all,
The Debian publicity team prepared a wrap-up DPN entry about DebConf14.
We would like to publish it on the DebConf blog (Martin Krafft
volunteered to do so) but would like some input from DebConf14 folks
before doing so. Hopefully you are still subscribed to the list :)

Since the call for sponsorship was announced by the press team and the
DebConf12 sponsorship page is up, I have sent out the mail:
http://lists.debian.org/debian-derivatives/2012/03/msg6.html
I'm hoping this results in some new sponsors, looking forward to seeing
some logos on the site.

According to the Debian derivatives census info[1], there are a number
of derivatives that are either for-profit or financially backed by a
government or corporate entity. I have been considering contacting these
derivatives with the purpose of encouraging them to help sponsor Deb

Having "I am going to DebConf11" would look at bit weird, how does a

Are you going?
I put the DebConf11 at the top because this looks hard to fit:

about the relatively low amount of funding available for debconf this
year. According to marga, there is currently zero funding for travel
costs and 60K
