I have a working installation of DBMAIL running 2.2.8rc1 on FreeBSD and I
would like to enable the timsieved component which was not done during the
original installation.
If I change the Makefile to enable dbmail_timsieved and make install, will
there be any changes to the install

For reference we are running dbmail 2.2.x and one account I just tested with
5,000 messages in the inbox loaded the Squirrel Mail interface (i.e. showing
the inbox listing) in about 4 seconds.
This was of course over the LAN and so there is no chance of any networking
issues cropping up.

all the folders on the left side when the user logs in. There's not much in
it as to the loading time between them when selecting one of these folders,
but SquirrelMail does take a long time to get to the initial scre

These are our Squirrelmail default settings so there is nothing for me to
test.
The other posters suggest this is a known Squirrelmail issue and I'm happy
to let it rest as I'm moving people to Roundcube and to be honest most use
imap/Blackberry's in the field anwyway.

addresses (as security for logging into their accounts).

Looking at dbmail_partlists it appears that the message was migrated again,
this time without throwing an error. Currently I'm leaving the migration
going with 10 messages with the aim of hopefully getting through a
rather perplexed as to how these entries are in the database
at all given they are not on the live / slave systems.

that it was installed (because I had it on an earlier version of php) I
didn't check till I saw your e-mail.
I had actually given up on that script after finding another one (which as

On a Samsung S3 which uses K-9 (the most recent version it supports from the

are seeing messages one hour late on the listing mode (i.e. if an e-mail is
sent at 10:00 it is shown as 11:00 on the listing mode) but when the e-mail
is opened it is shown with the correct time.

I wasn't really getting expected behaviour when I tried it with nc (i.e. if
I connect it bails out after login_timeout and if I login it appears to stay
connected).
However as our production server is playing up I was experimenting with
routing more traffic through our second server an
mysql 5.1.x. My dbmail.conf max_db_connections
= 35 but I've tried 10 and 20 too to no avail.

I installed dbmail 3.1.15 from FreeBSD ports this morning (thanks Alan) and
can confirm that imap connections are no longer being interrupted during
downloads based on the wrong timeout (thanks Paul) as per the "Re: [Dbmail]
