i have some little problems :) with dbmail-smtp and
dbmail-maintenance.

if there is no known user (ex: [EMAIL PROTECTED]) the bounce procedure
fail due to a
wrong??? calls to sendmail executable; in particular dbmail pipes to
/usr/sbin/sendmail (or whatever in /etc/dbm
I'm working on them. I'm not quite there yet. I'm building debs for
woody/stable and sid/unstable for
mysql and pgsql, based on cvs with added patches from the list, i.e.
fixed autoconf support,
autocreate mailbox support, and the mb2db tool.

I´m new to this list.
My installation is DBmail with Postgresql as backend.
Everything work fine except for Postfix that complains about the DBmail
transport. (No such file or Directory)
What is wrong? (more info on the problem further down)
Error message from Postfix is:
postfix/nwmgr[11796

get this uploaded, and start you on the process to officialy maintaining
this package.

That would be "private/dbmail" in postfix's spool directory,
which on my machine is:
# ls -l /var/spool/postfix/private/dbmail
srw-rw-rw-1 postfix postfix 0 Dec 5 16:10
/var/spool/postfix/private/dbmail
Make sure "private" exists with right perms, etc.; you don't

ok.. works fine now.. too many children. I'll have to look at mysql's
config to see where it limits server connections. maybe i need more fd's
A couple more things that you might want to change:
dbmail-imapd/pop3d/smtp should probably go in /usr/sb
